Description
74 cards in a standard cardboard tuck box. There's no LWB, but there is a 1 page (printed on both sides) foldout with tables of correspondences for the Majors and Courts.
Why only 74 cards? Instead of a separate Queen and King for each suit, the two are combined into a King and Queen card -- thus, each suit has only 3 Courts.
Cards measure 14.5 cm tall x 9.5 cm wide -- large enough that they are difficult to shuffle.
Card backs are non-reversible.
The card stock is slightly flexible, with a very smooth, matte finish.
The cards are borderless, and the card corners are square (non-rounded).
Suits are Pentacles, Wands, Cups, and Swords. Courts are Page, Knight, & King and Queen.
The minors are illustrated and sometimes contain suggestions of scenes, but aren't scenic in the typical sense. The Pentacles suit is the least detailed; the Pentacles minors are mostly just arrangements of suit symbols against a wintery background.
Strength is 8 and Justice is 11. The Fool is numbered 0.
The box is signed by the artist. The condition of the box is fairly worn, though still serviceable, as you can see in the scans.
There is no copyright date or date of publication on the cards, box, foldout insert, or on the Wicca Moon website. I purchased my copy in 2012, and a discussion of the deck on the Aeclectic Tarot forums began in 2012, so my best guess is that it was published in this century, and possibly as late as 2012, though the box hardly seemed "new" when I purchased the deck.
Personal note: As I was making the scans for this entry, I discovered that I have an extra 7 of Cups card, and I'm missing a 9 of Cups card. I will try to contact the artist to get a 9 of Cups card if possible.
