Phantasmagoric Theater Tarot
Dublin Core
Title
Phantasmagoric Theater Tarot
Subject
Circus
Description
78 cards + a title card and an informational card, in a standard cardboard tuck box. A standard -- but more than typically detailed -- LWB is included.
Cards measure 13.7 cm tall x 8.8 cm wide -- they are oversized, but not impossible to shuffle via normal means.
Card backs are reversible.
The card stock is flexible, with a smooth, matte finish.
The top flap of the box notes that the deck was printed in Switzerland. The LWB notes that the booklet was printed in the USA. (Perhaps this accounts for the differing copyright dates between the cards and the LWB?)
The deck follows the RWS model only in a loose sense; I can see the RWS influence, especially in the minors, but it's not truly what I'd call "an RWS deck."
Suits are Swords, Coins, Wands, and Cups. Courts are King, Queen, Knight, and Page. The minors are fully scenic.
Strength is 8 and Justice is 11. The Fool is numbered 0.
