Hungarian Rider Waite

Dublin Core

Title

Hungarian Rider Waite

Subject

Golden Dawn

Description

78 cards plus 2 advertising cards, with a LWB, inside a standard cardboard tuck box. The deck and box came housed inside a very nice, perfectly fitting cream colored satin drawstring bag.

The cards are quite small, measuring 8.9 cm tall x 5.7 cm wide (3.5 inches tall x 2.5 inches wide).

The card stock is flexible, with a smooth, matte finish.

The card backs are reversible and have the same blue plaid pattern as the U.S. Games 1971 copyright RWS.

Likewise, the images are that of the USG 1971 copyright RWS, and the cards all have the copyright statement on the front.

All the text is in Hungarian, including the card titles and the LWB.

There is no date of publication anywhere on the cards, box, or LWB. The only date is the 1971 copyright. Even Holly's Rider-Waite page doesn't have a publication date for this deck.

Given the relative "newness" of the packaging, though (no yellowing, no signs of age), I'm comfortable making a wild and broad guess that this particular copy was published/printed between 1990-2011.
