Tarot Illuminati
Dublin Core
Title
Tarot Illuminati
Subject
Artistic rendition/interpretation of the RWS
Description
78 cards + a title card + an advertising card + a 157 page softcover companion book in a sturdy set box with a magnetic closure.
Cards measure 12 cm tall x 7 cm wide.
The card stock is flexible with a smooth, matte finish. The cards are borderless, and have golden gilded edges.
The backs are fully reversible.
Suits are Pentacles, Cups, Wands, and Swords. Courts are Princess, Prince, Queen, and King.
The minors are fully illustrated.
Strength is 8 and Justice is 11. The Fool is numbered 0.
The entire deck is richly illustrated and richly detailed, and rendered in amazingly clear, deep color.
For me, the effect is overwhelming and I'm unable to really focus on specific details. But overall, the reaction I've seen online has been extremely positive.
This is definitely a RWS style deck, but not a RWS clone.
It's worth noting that the packaging of this set is above and beyond the usual Lo Scarabeo packaging. Even though it is a mass market deck, it "feels" as if it is some kind of special edition, just because the set box and companion book and the quality of the cards themselves are all EXCELLENT.
