Description

22 cards + a title card in a hand-painted wooden box with a hinged lid.

Cards measure about 12 cm tall x 7 cm wide, though the precise measurement varies slightly from card to card, as they are hand-cut with uneven edges.

No LWB was included, but it did come with two fold-outs -- a copy of the Spiral Map layout from the "I Am One" tarot, and a 3 page, stapled copy of Dore Mullen's English translation of an excerpt of Jean Paulhan's preface to "Le Tarot de Marseille" by Paul Marteau.

The deck itself feels and appears handmade, complete with heavy lamination and rough cut edges.

The backs, a reversible, blue plaid pattern, are identical to that of the blank deck that U.S. Games produces (to permit people to make their own decks).

Justice is 8 and Strength is 11. The Fool is numbered 0.

The art is black and white, and consists of collages from scenes and actors/actresses from various classic film noir movies.

The deck is undated. I purchased it via eBay at sometime between 2005-2009.
