Sola Busca Tarot
Dublin Core
Title
Sola Busca Tarot
Subject
Historical reproduction
Description
78 cards + a title card and a card with the creator's email address in a flimsy cardboard tuck box that is a little too large for the deck. No LWB was included.
The cards are quite small, measuring 8.9 cm tall x 5.8 cm wide.
The backs are a reversible brown pattern.
The card stock is almost like playing card stock -- flexible and with a barely discernible linen-like patterned finish.
On the title card, the deck's name is hyphenated as Sola - Busca. On the box there is no hyphenation of the title.
The cards have plain white borders, and otherwise are simply a reproduction of the historical images (though the specific source of the images is not given anywhere on the box or deck). No additional titles (outside of the images themselves) are present on the cards.
Suits, courts, and so forth are all in keeping with the historical Sola Busca deck.
No year of publication or printing is present on the deck or box, but I believe it became available for sale in late 2012, and I purchased my copy in either December 2012 or January 2013 from Indie Oracles (http://indieoracles.com).
The email address on the box and title card is Historical.Retrospective@gmail.com
It was printed by The Game Crafter (http://www.thegamecrafter.com), but I only know this due to the box, which has The Game Crafter logo printed on the inside, and is a typical example of their boxes (flimsy and not quite properly fitting the deck it contains).
