Description
78 cards plus 2 extra cards (one with information about the deck, and the other containing a list of keyword meanings for the cards). No LWB, box, or bag included. In fact, the deck arrived without an invoice, in a very plain cardboard box that seemed to come directly from the printing service. In short, nothing came with the deck to identify its creator or the year in which it was published.
This deck was offered for sale on Etsy (in Elaine Wilkinson's "The Shop of the Seven Stars") with the ability for the buyer to customize the card backs. I chose red backs with Je Vois printed on them (French for "I see").
Another option offered by the seller was having the majors with or without titles; I chose to have my deck printed without titles. Hence, the only words that appear anywhere on the cards are on the backs.
Cards measure 12.1 cm tall x 7 cm wide.
Backs are non-reversible.
The card stock is slightly flexible, with a smooth, very matte finish.
The minors (2-10) of each suit are from the RWS. The Majors, Aces, and Courts are based on older decks (the Etteilla and Soprafino).
None of the cards are titled or numbered.
The "aging" on the cards was done digitally.
The cost, new, was $59 USD + $8 for the personalization of the backs. I purchased my copy in January 2013 and received it in February 2013.
