Cat-Rot Cards
Dublin Core
Title
Cat-Rot Cards
Subject
Cats
Description
22 majors plus a title card and an informational card, accompanied by a foldout instructional sheet, housed in a sheer yellow organza drawstring bag.
Cards are about poker sized, measuring 8.5 cm tall x 6 cm wide.
The cards have square corners, are printed on plain white stock, and are coated with a shiny lamination..
The backs are plain white and thus fully reversible.
This is very much a theme deck / art deck. Each card features one or more cats in a minimalistic and humorous scene.
Strength is 8 and Justice is 11. The Fool is numbered as 0.
There are three noticeable misspellings on the cards, as follows: Strength is spelled "Strenght," Wheel of Fortune is spelled "Wheen of Fortune," and "Justice" is spelled "Justuce."
An interesting oversight on the foldout LWB sheet is that Justice is missing from the list.
Self-published by the artist, in Belgium.
Available from the artist's Etsy store for $25 USD.
I'm unsure about the publication year; I first purchased a copy from Etsy in February 2011, but it may have first been available in 2010. I cannot find a definitive date yet.
Personal note: I have two copies of this deck, which was entirely accidental. (I'd forgotten that I'd ordered it, and ordered a second copy.) Only one copy came with the instructional sheet.
