Description
The Lost Tarot from artist Hans Bauer includes 22 major arcana and 4 aces, for a total of 26 cards, as well as a signed, numbered title card.
Also included with the set is a companion guide written by Carly Fischer, and a copy of what is called "William Bradford's Testamentum" -- a faux historical document that was created as part of the deck's narrative and backstory.
In addition to the above, a small card business card/thank you card was included in the box.
The deck is housed in a 2-part, lidded box. The box is extremely high quality; far, far better than most. It is durable, beautiful, and thoughtfully designed. It seems intentional, if that makes sense, whereas most deck boxes do not.
The cards measure 2.75" wide x 5.5" tall. The card stock is good quality; quite flexible, with a smooth, glossy coating.
The backs are a gold color, and are almost completely reversible.
Fortitude is VIII and Justice is XI. The Fool is numbered 0.
The Lost Tarot was initially marketed and funded via a Kickstarter campaign. I was a backer at the $40 level, for one signed, numbered copy of the limited edition deck.
The campaign has since ended, but copies remain available for sale (currently priced at $60 USD) from the deck's website: The Lost Tarot.
My copy is number 48 of 500.
