Description

78 cards with a softcover companion book, housed together in a cardboard slip-in style set box. No title card. No LWB.

Cards measure 13.9 cm tall x 9.5 cm wide.

Card backs are reversible. The card stock is slightly flexible -- a little thicker and a little stiffer than the average deck, but still shuffle-able. The cards have a glossy, slightly sticky finish.

Suits are Crystals (Swords), Cups, Worlds (Pentacles), and Wands. Courts are called Family cards, and consist of Sage, Child, Woman, and Man.

Balance is VIII (8) and Strength is XI (11). The Fool-Child is numbered 0.

The minors are scenic . . . but the scenes aren't cohesive. The art style is digital collage / photo montage.

The soft cover companion book is 119 pages long and titled "Voyager Tarot: Guidebook for the Journey." James Wanless is the author.

There has been more than one edition of the Voyager tarot; this copy is part of the 2nd edition, published in 1998.

According to the price printed on the box, this set retailed for $35.00 USD.
