Description

78 cards + 2 extra cards (a welcome card and an invocation card), in a standard cardboard tuck box. I do not have a LWB with my copy, but I suspect it originally came with one.

Cards measure 4.25 inches tall x 2.75 inches wide (10.8 cm tall x 7 cm wide).

The card stock is flexible, with a flat, matte finish. The back design is not quite fully reversible.

Suits are Stone (Pentacles), Arrows (Swords), Pipes (Wands), and Bowls (Cups).

Courts are Apprentice (Page), Lodge (Knight), Exemplar (Queen), and Totem (King).

The art is fully scenic, though the scenes are sometimes set off inside a circle, with a larger-than-average amount of space devoted to card titles and border art.

The majors have traditional RWS titles as well as alternative titles. Strength (Healing) is 8, and Justice (Balance) is 11. The Fool (Seed) is numbered 0.

The copyright date on the cards themselves, on the right edge by the border, reads 1987. However, the U.S. Games copyright date on the box is 1990.

This copy was printed in Belgium.
