Napo Tarot
Dublin Core
Title
Napo Tarot
Subject
Argentinian culture, history, and myth
Description
78 cards plus a title card, informational card, and LWB in a standard cardboard tuck box.
The cards measure 12.5 cm tall x 7 cm wide.
The card stock is flexible and easy to shuffle, with a matte finish.
Backs are reversible.
The theme of this deck is Argentina and its culture, history, and mythology. The brightly colored, somewhat angular/geometric paintings are beautiful and unique. The minors are fully scenic and follow the RWS conventions, but the minors also have keyword titles that remind me of the Thoth (though I don't believe they are the same).
Fortitude (Strength) is 8 and Justice is 11. The Fool is numbered 0. Card titles appear in both English and Spanish.
Suits are Wands, Cups, Swords, and Disks. Courts are Page, Knight, Queen, and King.
