Tea Tarot
Tea
Art
78 cards plus a title card, poker sized. Limited edition of 200. Title card is double-sided; one side gives the deck name, and the other side bears the artist's signature and the deck number.
Reversible backs.
My copy is #3 out of 200.
Very much an "art" deck -- the card images are taken from a variety of types of illustrations and photographs, with a very vintage look and feel throughout. Many, though not all, cards feature tea cups or tea parties.
Cards come loosely packaged in a plastic wrapper, inside a white paper bag with a small green logo stamped on the front, and the deck number written in ink. The white paper bag comes affixed with a single staple to hold it shut, and does not fit the cards very closely.
Strength is 8; Justice is 11.
Cards use standard RWS titles, and the suits are Cups, Wands, Swords, and Pentacles.
Cards feature a rather noticeable copyright line on both the front and the back -- to be honest, it's a distraction.

Penguin Parade Tarot
Penguins
Animals
Art
78 cards plus a signed and numbered title card, packaged with a LWB in a highly unusual cardboard box. My copy was also accompanied by an ACEO sized extra card, signed by the artist (both sides of the card are pictured above).
Cards are 6.1 cm tall x 4.5 cm wide -- very much a miniature deck. It would be nearly impossible to shuffle these cards.
This deck is now OOP, and was a limited and numbered edition. My copy is signed and numbered by the artist -- I have number 30 out of 50.
The card stock is along the lines of what you could buy at an office supply store; heavy blue stock with marbled backs. Not coated or laminated. The corners are square.
The backs could be considered reversible, though there is variation in the marbled pattern.
All cards in this deck feature one or more penguins. Actually, the Death card features the skull of a penguin, if you want to get technical about it. No human figures appear in the deck.
I consider this to be a fully scenic deck in the RWS tradition, though it's not strictly RWS and because of the mini size, the scenes are somewhat sparse and the symbolism is minimal. This is more of an art deck than a reading deck.
The Fool card is numbered 0. Strength is 8 and Justice is 11.
Suits are Sticks (Wands), Shells (Cups), Feathers (Swords), and Stones (Pentacles). Though all suits share the same blue card stock borders, the primary background color of the suits varies somewhat.
Sticks are primarily orange, Shells and Feathers are primarily blue, and Stones are primarily green.
Courts are Chick, Fledgling, Mother, and Father.
The yellow and white striped box that contains the cards was packed flat when shipped, but folded into a rather unique square shape that is considerably oversized for the cards. It's delicate and not at all a practical container, but I appreciate the creativity and thought behind it. In short, it's cool.

Tarot d'Argolance
Oswald Wirth, Historical, Metaphysics, Alchemy
22 cards plus a title card, and a signed and numbered edition card. My copy is 955 out of limited edition of 999 copies.
Cards are oversized and rectangular, measuring 15 cm tall x 7.5 cm wide.
Art is based on the Oswald Wirth tarot.
La Justice is 8 and La Force is 11. Cards have French titles.
Backs are a reversible gold and black pattern.
The card stock is heavy and inflexible, with a wonderfully smooth matte finish. You have to hold this deck to truly appreciate it -- it feels marvelous in the hand.
These cards cannot be shuffled in the typical way, but you wouldn't want to shuffle them -- they are too beautiful.
The deck arrived packaged inside a signed and stamped paper sleeve, within a wax paper wrapper closed with clear tape. No box or bag was included with the copy I purchased (through eBay).

Mail Artists' Tarot
Collaborative, Art
66 cards (3 versions of each of the 22 major arcana), accompanied by a booklet, wrapped in thin, rough cloth with a tan & yellow pattern and housed inside a 2 piece cardboard lidded box.
Cards are 13 cm tall x 7 cm wide.
This was a limited edition of 25 decks; my copy is number 24, as indicated on the box lid. The box lid is signed by K. Frank Jensen, the project organizer and producer of the deck.
The deck consists of 3 separate versions of each of the 22 major arcana, for a total of 66 cards in the deck.
Strength is 8 and Justice is 11.
The fronts of the cards are uncoated, while the backs have a glossy finish.
The backs are plain black and thus fully reversible.
The art style varies wildly throughout the deck as there were so many artists involved, some of whom contributed more than one card to the project. The artists involved lived all over the world -- the booklet lists each artist's name and home country.
As this was such a limited edition (only 25 copies), it is extremely difficult to find for sale. I waited and watched for 6 years before locating the copy I purchased.

22 cards (majors-only) with a title card and an informational leaflet in Italian. Packaged in a 2 piece cardboard sleeve-style box.
The back of the box is signed by the artist, Ferenc Pinter.
The cards are oversized, measuring 14.7 cm tall x 8.8 cm wide. The corners are square.
The card stock is amazing -- smooth and uncoated, and with a very faint stripe pattern on the front that gives the art a sense of life and movement.
The backs are a blue and white pattern that isn't quite reversible (though you won't notice unless you are looking closely).
Card titles are in Italian. The Fool is numbered 0. Justice is 8 and Strength is 11.

79 cards (78 + the Danse Macabre card), with a signed and numbered title card and a LWB, in a standard cardboard tuck box.
My copy is number 123 out of a limited edition of 500 copies.
The cards measure 12.9 cm tall x 7.9 cm wide (5 inches tall x 3 inches wide).
The card stock is the usual high quality you'd expect from Magic Realist Press, flexible, and with a matte finish and a gleam of silver ink highlights. The silver gives the cards a bit of a look of photo negatives; it dulls down the colors, but adds a certain charm and fascination at the same time.
Backs are reversible.
Suits are Pentacles, Cups, Wands, and Swords. Courts are Page, Knight, Queen, and King.
Minors are fully scenic and largely follow RWS conventions.

Ferret Tarot
Ferrets
Animals
78 cards plus a signed, numbered title card, a handmade LWB, and a "cheat sheet" of card meanings in a lined cotton cloth bag (purple with black bats) that ties shut instead of having a drawstring.
My copy is #494 out of a limited edition of 500, produced in 2003. It is part of the first print run; the second run (in 2005) was not signed or numbered.
The cards are smaller than average (around poker sized), measuring 9.7 cm tall x 6.4 cm wide (3.5 inches tall x 2.25 inches wide).
The card stock is literally just regular white card stock, uncoated. The corners are square.
Backs are reversible.
The art is black and white ink drawings of ferrets doing various activities. Some cards bear a similarity to the RWS, but many do not.
The majors are unnumbered.
Suits are Pentacles, Swords, Wands, and Cups. Courts are Page, Knight, Queen, and King.
