Albano-Waite Tarot
Rider-Waite-Smith clone
78 cards + 2 different title cards + a standard LWB in a cardboard tuckbox.<br /><br />The cards measure 2.75" wide x 4.75" long. The cardstock is sturdy yet flexible, with a smooth, lightly glossy finish. <br /><br />The card backs are white, with a gold sun design in the center that is non-reversible.<br /><br />This tarot is a recolor/clone of the RWS, and as such, adheres to the RWS system of card naming, numbering, and suit designations.<br /><br />The LWB notes that this is a "fasimilie" of the original 1968 edition of the Albano-Waite.

NaturalTarot Wooden Rider Waite Smith
Rider-Waite-Smith
78 thin wooden cards with a printed, single-page FAQ. No title card. No LWB.<br /><br />The deck didn't ship wth a bag or box, but I store my copy inside a cigar box, with the cards wrapped in a yellow cloth for an added layer of protection.<br /><br />The cards measure 7.2 cm wide x 11.8 cm wide. Though made of wood, the cards are quite thin and light. They are slightly transluscent. <br /><br />The card backs are plain wood, and therefore reversible.<br /><br />Aside from being made of wood, this is a standard copy of the Rider-Waite-Smith tarot, with the same majors, suits, courts, and minors.<br /><br />Very little information is available about the deck's origin, publication, or creator. According to the "About" information on the NaturalTarot site from 2012: "NaturalTarot LLC is run by Del DeJean. His friends and family help him with their love, time, and expertise. Del lives and works in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA."<br /><br />The contact email from 2012 was given as follows (<em>I have no idea if this is still current</em>):Â NaturalTarotLLC@gmail.com

78 cards + 2 extra cards with a small, hardcover guide booklet in a sturdy, 2 part, upright slipcase-style box. <br /><br />The cards measure 7.1 cm wide x 12.1 cm long. <br /><br />The cardstock is stiffer than average, with a smooth, glossy finish. It would not be possible to riffle-shuffle this deck.<br /><br />The card back design is an aqua blue and white reversible design.<br /><br />This deck is an updated, younger, female-focused version of the Rider-Waite-Smith, and uses the same card names, suit names, and numbering as the RWS.<br /><br />Strength is VIII and Justice is XI. The Fool is numbered 0.<br /><br />The suits are Cups, Wands, Swords, and Pentacles. The court cards are Page, Knight, Queen, and King.<br /><br />The minor arcana are scenic.<br /><br />The deck includes 2 extra cards: a red and white card with an affirmational message, and a version of the 10 of Swords bearing the title "Everything Is Fine."

Universal Waite
Tarot
78 cards + a title card + an extra card with a quote from Stuart R. Kaplan, in a standard cardboard tuck box. The deck is packaged as part of a set, along with a softcover copy of <em>The Pictorial Key to the Tarot</em> by Arthur Edward Waite and a spread sheet fold-out guide. The book, deck, and fold-out sheet are all housed in a slipcase style cardboard shelf box.<br /><br /><em>Note</em>: There may have also been an LWB with the deck, but if so, I stored it separately. If I run across it, I'll update this record.<br /><br />The cards measure 2.75" wide x 4.75" long. The card stock is reasonably flexible, with a smooth, matte finish. <br /><br />My copy is from a Belgian printing; the words "Printed in Belgium" appear in the lower right margin of the title card.<br /><br />The backs feature a reversible pattern of gold stars on a dark blue background.<br /><br />Strength is VIII and Justice is XI. The Fool is numbered 0.<br /><br />Suits are Wands, Pentacles, Cups, and Swords. The court cards are Page, Knight, Queen, and King.<br /><br />The minor arcana are scenic. <br /><br />This deck is a recolored copy of the Rider-Waite-Smith. The line art is the same as that of the RWS, but it has been given a fresh, slightly softer, and more colorful look and feel thanks to artist Mary Hanson-Roberts, who used colored pencils to recolor the version originally created by Pamela Colman Smith.<br /><br />The set box lists two copyright years: 1990 and 1992. The deck box lists 1990 as the copyright year; 1990 also appears on the cards themselves.<br /><br /><em>Personal note</em>: For a period of time while I was still reading predominately with RWS-style decks, the Universal Waite was my deck of preference. It's more pleasing to the eye than the original, yet still no-nonsense, no-frills, no-frippery. I may have a second copy somewhere, though, as this particular copy has no apparent signs of use (aside from the shelf-wear of the packaging).

Tarot Uranai
RWS clone
78 cards + an informational card in Japanese and 1 blank card. It would have been in a box and with an accompanying book when new, but I bought my copy used from Tarot Garden during one of their reverse auctions in 2013.
Cards measure 11.5 cm tall x 7 cm wide.
The card stock is flexible, with a glossy coating only on the fronts (the backs are uncoated) -- resulting in a noticeable curve to the cards.
The backs are a fully reversible tan and white pattern.
This is a RWS clone; as such, the suits are Wands, Swords, Cups, and Pentacles, and the courts are Page, Knight, Queen, and King.
Strength is 8 and Justice is 11. The Fool is numbered 0. No titles are printed on the minors (Ace through 10).
The minors are fully scenic.
The most unusual feature of this deck is that the Major Arcana are in full color, while the minors are in black and white.
Published in Japan. Though the informational card is in Japanese, the titles on the majors and courts are in English.
This deck is out of print. As of the current date (March 12, 2014), Tarot Garden has a pre-owned copy listed for sale for $110, in its original box with book. My copy wouldn't be worth as much, since it is unboxed with no book.

Golden Romanian Tarot
Rider-Waite-Smith clone
78 cards. No box, no title card, and no LWB. A Romanian-language companion book was available, but I didn't purchase it.
I'm unable to unearth any information regarding the publisher or the artist. This deck is said to have only been available for sale in Romania (I purchased my copy through someone who was offering a handful of copies for sale in the Aeclectic Tarot trading forum).
I have not yet found anything regarding the year of publication, though I will say that the look and feel of the card stock makes me believe it was published in the last 10 years.
The cards measure 11.8 cm tall x 6.8 cm wide.
The card stock is extremely flexible, with a smooth, mostly matte finish on the front, and a smooth, glossy finish on the back.
The card backs are gold, with no pattern, and are reversible.
The card numbering and suits are all in keeping with the traditional RWS.
Card titles are in Romanian.
This deck is a RWS clone, though there are some variances from and additions to the original art (this is a redrawing with some creative liberties taken, in other words).
I paid 34 Euro for my copy, which included shipping, in March 2013.
Additional snippet of information, posted by Niclas on the Aeclectic Tarot Forum on March 13, 2013:
"The site of the main distributor for this deck, whom I have used in the past, does not exist anymore. The printing house that published the book that goes with the cards, and presumably the cards themselves, does not list it anymore on their website. Even though there are webshops that still offer the deck amongst the items in their catalogue, catering not to the international, but to the Romanian public, I do have the impression that this deck is OOP now."

78 cards, plus two cards that, as far as I can tell, provide some instructions, a suggested spread, and brief card meanings.
The cards are housed in a tan cardboard tuck box that fits into a well in a larger blue cardboard folder. The folder also contains a pocket for housing the softcover companion book.
The blue folder then slides into an outer set box.
All the parts are pictured with this entry.
My set is from the 1989 reprint -- originally, the deck was published in 1975.
I am unsure if the name Tairiku Shobo is that of the deck's publisher, or the companion book's author, or of someone who was otherwise involved in the creation of publication of the deck. The artist's name is Seigan Nakajima.
Though nothing in the set names this the J.K. Waite tarot, that is nonetheless how it has come to be known and named amongst collectors.
On the set materials themselves, at least in English, the name is simply "Tarot: Book & Cards."
The deck is a RWS clone -- the art is a redrawn and re-colored version of the Rider-Waite-Smith.
Cards measure 11.8 cm tall x 7 cm wide.
The card backs are reversible.
The card stock is extremely flexible, with a smooth, matte finish.
The card titles are printed in English, and follow the RWS model. Likewise, the suits and courts and numbering of the major arcana are all in keeping with the RWS.
Personal note: I have two copies of this edition of the deck (I'd forgotten I had one, and then bought another). Only one copy is part of a complete set, though. My other copy is in a tan inner box, but without any of the other components of the set.

No LWB was included.
Cards measure 12 cm tall x 7 cm wide.
The card back design is reversible.
The card stock is flexible, with a smooth and flat matte finish.
This is a RWS clone, and the suits, majors, titles, and numbering are all in keeping with a traditional RWS deck.
The cards have a small white border in which a copyright notice appears on the lower left-hand side.
This deck was printed and sold via The Game Crafter website (http://www.thegamecrafter.com), which is where I purchased my copy.
As printed on the back of the box, it retailed for $34.99 USD.
