Cat's House Tarot
Cats
78 cards, with a softcover guidebook (in Japanese), in an upright, lidded tin box.<br /><br />The cards are longer than average, measuring 7 cm wide x 13 cm long. The card stock is flexible, with a semi-matte finish that is smooth on the back and very slightly textured on the front.<br /><br />The card backs feature a reversible black and white design.<br /><br />Strength is VIII and Justice is XI. The Fool is numbered 0.<br /><br />Suits are Cups, Swords, Wands, and Coins. The court cards are Page, Knight, Queen, and King.<br /><br />The minor arcana are plain pips.<br /><br />There is no date, or at least none that I can identify, on the cards or box. Adam McLean has mentioned this deck online a couple of times, both times listing a different year (2000 as well as 2001). <br /><br />Likewise, I'm not sure of the publisher's name. The name "SSS Factory" appears in English on the last page of the booklet.<br /><br />I don't know the original retail price of this deck, nor do I recall what I paid. But for the sake of reference, I wrote a note that a copy was for sale in July 2015 on eBay (offered by the seller known as baby_dream) for $78 USD. This was at some point after I'd bought my copy.Â

41 cards + a blank card + a title card, with two very small, homemade booklets serving as LWBs (one covering the major arcana and the other covering the court cards of the minor arcana). No box or bag was included. I'm housing my copy in a padded blue drawstring bag with a gold print.
Though the title card specifically states that there are 42 cards, the only way that this is true would be if that was counting the blank card (or the title card) in the total number.
The cards measure 11 cm in diameter.
The backs are plain black. The cards seem to be constructed of two parts, stuck together with some kind of adhesive; the fronts are uncoated parchment, and the backs are a lightly textured black, coated black paper -- I wonder if it's something similar to contact paper?
The cards are moderately flexible and seem durable, despite the uncoated fronts. My copy has very slight warping, and the title card has a slight crease in the upper right.
The Yes, No, and Significator cards are a light tan color. The Major Arcana are more of a golden color. The Swords courts are blue, the Wands courts are pink, the Cups courts are light green, and the Pentacles courts are brown.
Strength is 8, Justice is 11, and the Fool is numbered 0.
Self published in the United States. No date is on the cards, but Tarot Garden and the Mystic Eye both list the deck as having been published in 1991.
I purchased my copy from Tarot Garden for $120 USD during a "reverse auction" event in March 2013.

78 cards packaged as part of a set. The set includes a 168 page soft cover companion book, an inner tuck box for the cards, an LWB, a small spread cloth (plain black), and an outer two-part lidded set box made of very sturdy cardboard.
None of these photos are to scale, by the way -- for instance, the scans of the book cover are larger than those of the set box, but actually all the various parts of the set fit quite neatly into the set box.
Cards measure 10.5 cm tall x 7.1 cm wide.
The card stock is incredibly nice -- it's wonderful to touch and handle. Velvet smooth and super flexible, with a matte finish.
The card backs are utterly non-reversible, featuring a big drawing of Granny Jones with her cat.
Suits are Buttons, Wands, Swords, and Cups. The Courts are Page, Knight, Queen, and King.
Justice is 8 and Strength is 11. The Fool is numbered 0.
The minor arcana are fully scenic . . . as well as quirky, original, and colorful.
According to the retail price sticker on the back of my set box, this set originally sold for $29.95 (when distributed in the United States, anyway). The price sticker indicates it was distributed stateside by Seven Hills Book Distribution in Cincinnati, OH.

26 cards with an instructional/informational booklet in a sturdy cardboard tuck box.<br /><br />The cards are larger than average, measuring 10 cm wide x 16.5 cm long. The cardstock is thick and sturdy, yet surprisingly flexible. The card fronts have a high-gloss coating and the backs have a matte finish.<br /><br />The card backs aren't quite reversible, in that each features information identifying the artwork pictured on the card.<br /><br />La Giustizia (<em>Justice</em>) is VIII. La Forza (<em>Strength</em>). Il Matto (<em>The Fool</em>) is unnumbered. <br /><br />In addition to the 22 major arcana, 4 aces are included, bringing the total number of cards to 26.<br /><br />I cannot read enough Italian to understand the instruction booklet, but according to <a href="http://tarotgarden.com/i-tarocchi-barocchi-di-marina-cirinei/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Tarot Garden's</a> information, this tarot was "commissioned and published by the ministries of culture and tourism of Acireale, Italy" and was "[d]esigned to commemorate the tricentennial of the birth of Baroque artist, sculptor, and archtect [<em>sic</em>] Pietro Paolo Vasta (1697 - 1760)."<br /><br />I'm not certain, but I believe I may have purchased this deck during a Tarot Garden "reverse auction" sales event in August 2015. I don't remember what I paid, but a used copy that is currently for sale on their site (in March 2020) is listed at $125.

44 cards, boxed, with LWB and 4 extra filler cards. Majors-only (2 identical sets of 2 majors-only decks come boxed together).
Shows both RWS and TdM influences, but with some re-imagined cards, such as card 13, which looks more like a traditional Fool than a traditional Death card.

22 cards + two informational cards. Unboxed. No title card or LWB included.
Cards measure 11 cm tall x 5.8 cm wide. The deck was released in two different sizes; mine is the smaller size. (According to Tarot Garden's listing, the larger size was 8.75 in x 4.5 in.)
The card stock is WONDERFUL -- flexible, with a super-smooth, glossy coating. The cards are a pleasure to touch and hold.
The backs are a reversible red and white pattern.
La Justice is VIII (8) and La Force is XI (11). Le Fou is numbered XXII (22).
I purchased my copy from Tarot Garden in March 2013 for $61 USD during a Reverse Auction event.

Promotional item
42 cards, with two informational fold-outs, in a cardboard tuck box.
The deck consists of 22 major arcana, 16 court cards (4 for each suit), and 4 aces.
As stated in the entry for this deck on the Tarot Garden website:
"Promotional piece published in 1967 by the Brown Company of New York. The oversized cards are each printed on a different type or color of paper as a demonstration of the different product lines offered by Brown. Several artists contributed artwork to the deck, including David Palladini, creator of the Aquarian and New Palladini tarots."
The cards are very large, measuring 8.5 inches tall x 5.5 inches wide (21.5 cm tall x 14 cm wide).
The card stock varies in color and texture from card to card, as it is, after all, a deck designed to sell paper. In all cases, the cards are uncoated.
The card backs are non-reversible -- each back provides its card meaning (thus, every back is different).
La Justice is VIII (8) and La Force is XI (11). Le Mat is unnumbered.

78 cards, packaged together in a 5 piece set. The deck itself is housed in its own two part, lidded cardboard box. The whole set, including the cards, is housed together in a long two part, lidded cardboard box.
The five parts of the set are:
-- The deck itself
-- A very large, full color fold-out
-- A LWB
-- A 150 page, soft cover companion book
-- An additional book, "G: The Royal Maze: Guide to the Game of Destiny," 60 pages, soft cover
The cards measure 11.8 cm tall x 7.7 cm wide.
The card stock is flexible, with a mostly matte finish. The backs are very smooth and slightly shinier than the fronts. The fronts have a very slight texture that you can't see, but can feel if you run your fingers over the cards.
The back design is non-reversible, though you'd have to be really looking at the corners to be aware of whether a card was upright or reversed when looking at the back.
Suits are Serpents (Wands), Pears (Cups), Blades (Swords), and Stones (Pentacles).
The minor arcana just pip cards (non-scenic).
All of the major arcana have been renamed. The major arcana are unnumbered.

Tarot Uranai
RWS clone
78 cards + an informational card in Japanese and 1 blank card. It would have been in a box and with an accompanying book when new, but I bought my copy used from Tarot Garden during one of their reverse auctions in 2013.
Cards measure 11.5 cm tall x 7 cm wide.
The card stock is flexible, with a glossy coating only on the fronts (the backs are uncoated) -- resulting in a noticeable curve to the cards.
The backs are a fully reversible tan and white pattern.
This is a RWS clone; as such, the suits are Wands, Swords, Cups, and Pentacles, and the courts are Page, Knight, Queen, and King.
Strength is 8 and Justice is 11. The Fool is numbered 0. No titles are printed on the minors (Ace through 10).
The minors are fully scenic.
The most unusual feature of this deck is that the Major Arcana are in full color, while the minors are in black and white.
Published in Japan. Though the informational card is in Japanese, the titles on the majors and courts are in English.
This deck is out of print. As of the current date (March 12, 2014), Tarot Garden has a pre-owned copy listed for sale for $110, in its original box with book. My copy wouldn't be worth as much, since it is unboxed with no book.
