Gustave Doré Bible Tarot
Gustave Doré, Art, Bible
78 cards in a standard cardboard tuck box that is too large for the deck, and thus dents in very easily. The deck did not come with an LWB or book.
Cards are 13.1 cm tall x 9.1 cm wide -- oversized, but still easy enough to handle.
Backs are not quite fully reversible, but you'd have to be paying close attention to notice the difference between upright and reversed.
The card stock has a shiny laminate coating.
The art is black and white, and consists entirely of the Biblical illustrations of Gustave Doré (1832-1883), carefully chosen to "fit" within the general concept of each tarot card. This is very much an art deck; I cannot personally imagine reading with this deck.
Strength is 8 and Justice is 11. The Fool is numbered 0.
Suits are Wands, Cups, Swords, and Pentacles. Courts are Page, Knight, Queen, and King.
In addition to their tarot numbers and titles, each card also bears a subtitle conveying the Biblical scene, person, or concept portrayed in the art.
Published in the Czech Republic. Price is 40,00 EUR.

Tarot de Alma Ajo (Hand Coloured Version)
Art
22 cards, in a signed and numbered cardboard sleeve, inside a gold, sheer organza drawstring bag. The cards are individually separated by layers of tissue paper, in order to protect the paint and glitter.
The cards are slightly curved in the centers due to the hand painting, but the approximate measurements are 10 cm tall x 6.5 cm wide, or 4 inches tall x 2.5 inches wide (a little smaller than average). The corners are square.
My copy is #10, which is written on the back of the cardboard sleeve. The artist's signature and date also appears on the back of the cardboard sleeve.
The backs are reversible.
The card backs have a glossy coating, but the fronts are uncoated.
Strength is 8, Justice is 11, and the Fool is numbered 0.
The card titles are in Spanish
It is not clear from the deck packaging how many total decks were produced as part of this edition.
Because of the delicate nature of the cards, I've photographed them instead of scanning them.

Golden Tarot of the Tsar
Eastern and Russian Orthodox Christianity
Byzantine and Russian iconography
78 cards + a title card and an advertising card + an LWB in a standard cardboard tuck box.<br /><br /><span>Cards measure 12 cm tall x 6.6 cm wide. The card stock is very flexible, with a matte finish and extensive gold foil stamping. This deck could easily be riffle-shuffled.<br /><br />The card back design is reversible.<br /><br />Each card is aligned with a figure or event from Eastern Orthodox Christianity and Biblical history. Justice is VIII depicts the Archangel Michael. Strength is XI and depicts Saint George and the dragon. The Fool, depicting the possession of Gerasa, is numbered 0.<br /><br />Suits are Chalices, Wands, Swords, and Pentacles. The court cards are Knave, Knight, Queen, and King.<br /><br />The minor arcana are scenic, and loosely follow the RWS tradition. However, the scenes are limited to a small area in the center of each card, with arrangements of suit symbols around the central vingette. <br /><br />The gold foil embellishment on these cards is beautiful, but it overwhelms the art at times. I wish more space had been alotted to the art.<br /></span>

Tarot de Louttre B
Art
78 cards plus an informational card and a LWB in a 2 pc heavy cardboard lidded box, which is still housed in the original white cardboard outer box.
Cards are oversized, measuring 14.7 cm tall x 8.4 cm wide.
The cardstock is very sturdy and has a lightly glossy finish. The cards have square corners. This is not a deck intended to be shuffled.
The backs are reversible.
This deck is a modern, artistic take on a TdM style deck. It's illustrated, but not scenic -- even the majors don't feature people.
The LWB and card titles are in French. An interesting thing about the numbering of the major arcana is that La Force (Strength) has no number. La Justice is 8 and L'Hermite is 11.
Suits are d'Epee, Baton, Coupe, and Deniers. Courts are Valet, Cavalier, Reine, and Roi.
Further note, originally posted by Gregory on the Aeclectic Tarot forums on March 2, 2006:
"Designs by Louttre B - pseudonym for Marc Bissière. Produced in co-operation with the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, on the opening of an exhibition of playing cards in Paris. Some cards oddly numbered (VI serves for both the Emperor and the Lovers). No human figures; symbolic objects drawn from Marseilles tarot used instead, reducing symbols to bare essentials. Impressionistic style, with deliberately rough appearance."

78 cards + a title card and an informational card, housed in a flimsier-than-usual cardboard tuck box.
No LWB was included.
Cards measure 12 cm tall x 7 cm wide.
The card back design is reversible.
The card stock is flexible, with a smooth and flat matte finish.
This is a RWS clone, and the suits, majors, titles, and numbering are all in keeping with a traditional RWS deck.
The cards have a small white border in which a copyright notice appears on the lower left-hand side.
This deck was printed and sold via The Game Crafter website (http://www.thegamecrafter.com), which is where I purchased my copy.
As printed on the back of the box, it retailed for $34.99 USD.

22 cards + two informational cards. Unboxed. No title card or LWB included.
Cards measure 11 cm tall x 5.8 cm wide. The deck was released in two different sizes; mine is the smaller size. (According to Tarot Garden's listing, the larger size was 8.75 in x 4.5 in.)
The card stock is WONDERFUL -- flexible, with a super-smooth, glossy coating. The cards are a pleasure to touch and hold.
The backs are a reversible red and white pattern.
La Justice is VIII (8) and La Force is XI (11). Le Fou is numbered XXII (22).
I purchased my copy from Tarot Garden in March 2013 for $61 USD during a Reverse Auction event.

Oil painting
78 cards + small guidebook/LWB in a sturdy, 2-part lidded cardboard box. <br /><br />Cards measure 12 cm tall x 7 cm wide.<br /><br />The card stock has a linen finish and is almost slippery to handle, but easy to shuffle. To my eye, the linen finish is slightly to the detriment of the beautiful art, based on the creator's own oil paintings. The details would have looked better with a non-textured card finish. <br /><br />The card backs are fully reversible.<br /><br />Strength is VIII and Balance (i.e. <em>Justice</em>) is XI. The Fool is numbered 0. Most of the majors follow the naming conventions of the RWS, but a few are retitled. <br /><br />Suits are Wands, Cups, Coins, and Swords. Courts are King, Queen, Knight, and Page. The minor arcana are fully scenic in the RWS tradition, yet by no means is this a clone.<br /><br />The bottom of the box does not contain an ISBN, but there is a barcode. No date appears on the cards, but the box notes that this is the First edition, April 2019. The accompanying guidebook/LWB is also dated April 2019.<br /><br />This is one of the most uniquely beautiful and useable new tarot decks I've encountered in a while. I highly recommend it to collectors and readers who enjoy reading with RWS style decks, but who want something new and fresh and evocative from a highly talented artist.<br /><br />This deck was first funded and marketed via a Kickstarter campaign in 2019, and is currently available for sale (<em>at the time of this writing, in January 2020</em>) for $50.00 USD from the <a href="https://www.moderneden.com/products/the-slow-tarot" target="_blank" title="Modern Eden Gallery" rel="noreferrer noopener">Modern Eden Gallery website</a>.
