Description
78 cards plus a 224 page softcover companion book, packaged in a heavy cardboard set box with a magnetic closure. Available only as a set.
Cards are 12 cm tall x 7.6 cm wide.
Cards follow the RWS style, though they fall short of being fully scenic. They are more iconic / focused on single figures or pairs of figures than on full scenes.
The art is digitally created and the human figures lack detail. The art is black and white (with shades of grey).
Backs are fully reversible and very simple (a grey pattern), but some of the backs are printed off-center.
Suits are Swords, Wands, Cups, and Pentacles.
Courts are Page, Knight, Queen, and King.
The Fool card is numbered as 0.
Strength is 8 and Justice is 11.
The cards have a very shiny lamination, but are not sticky.
The companion book is very thorough and detailed, providing correspondences to astrology, i-Ching, elements, and alchemy.
Unfortunately, the book is more interesting than the deck. With the simple figures and overabundance of grey, I find this deck visually boring.
Set retailed for $29.99.
